Interior Township Public Hearing
To Amend the Zoning Map Showing the Location
of the Lake-Residential District
around Bond Falls Flowage
WHEN: Thursday, August 31, 2006 7:00 p.m.
WHERE: Interior Township Hall, Trout Creek, MI 49967
A public hearing (as indicated above) is scheduled prior to a Special Township Board Meeting for
the purpose of receiving public comments on amending the township zoning map to rezone property
adjacent to Bond Falls Flowage to a Lake-Residential District.
Written comments concerning the rezoning can be sent to Interior Township, P.O. Box 8, Trout
Creek, MI 49967. Comments must be received by no later than August 31, 2006. Written
comments will also be accepted at the Public Hearing.
The area to be rezoned to a Lake-Residential District is described as the land between the shoreline
of Bond Falls Flowage and the outer boundaries as follows: POB in T46N R38W of Interior Township
at the SW COR of SEC 6; then along the West and North Boundary Line of S 1/2 of S 1/2 of SEC 6; then
along the North Boundary Line of S 1/2 OF SW 1/4 of SEC 5, and the North and East Boundary
Line of SW 1/4 OF SE 1/4 EXC 1 Square Acre in NW COR of SW 1/4 and SE 1/4 of SEC 5; then
along the East Boundary Line of W 1/2 of NE 1/4 of SEC 8, and the North Boundary Line
of E 1/2 of SE 1/4 of SEC 8; then along the North and East Boundary Line of SW 1/4 of SEC 9; then
along the East and South Boundary Line of W1/2 of Sec 16; then along the South Boundary Line
of SEC 17; then along the South and West Boundary Line of S 1/2 of SE 1/4 of SEC 18, and the
South and West Boundary Line of N 1/2 of SW 1/4 of SEC 18; then along the West Boundary
Line of NW 1/4 of SEC 18; then along the West Boundary Line of SEC 7 to POB, excluding all land
within the above described outer boundaries under the control of the Federal Energy Regulatory
Commission (FERC). It also includes the area in the NE 1/4 OF NE 1/4 of SEC 19 lying W of
Middle Branch of Ontonagon River. 29 A., and SE 1/4 OF NE 1/4 of SEC 19 EXC that part
lying E of Interior Creek & S of the ISLAND in the Middle Branch of the Ontonagon River
& also EXC that part that lying E of Middle Branch of Ontonagon River. 30 A M/L.
